Hi Bernd,

We want to completely reinstall the server where proppfrexx is installed. This is likely because the sound card is not properly installed and we have here occasionally problems with it. We are now running version 4.0.4.23. I have made a complete backup in proppfrexx. If I have reinstalled proppfrexx, can I restore the backup, and will everything work again? Can I also install V4.0.5.0 and restore the backup of version 4.0.4.23, or I must first install V4.0.5.0, then make a full backup, and then reinstall and restore the backup.

The license is on usb stick. will this work again if proppfrexx is reinstalled? or should this be coupled again?

If you don’t change your OS version the USB license should still work.

The restore should work. But if the soundcard driver changes, you might need to delete the file „Default.mixer“ from the AppDataFolder and reconfigure your mixer setup.
