The crash did not happen directly inside ProppFrexx, but within the .Net framework.
This is typically an indication that an issue within the Operating System happened.
As the error also already occurred right after a Windows Update, I can only assume, that some driver issue occurred, eg. with your sound card or whatever. Unfortunately the error doesn’t tell much about it.
I believe that this is not a PF bug, as so far no other user had this issue. I also just did all the latest windows update on my test PCs and could not experience any issue.
Maybe the update was somehow unsuccessful and left you with an unstable system?

Are you maybe using a D&R console?
They just recently reported some issue, see here: https://www.d-r.nl/forum/index.php?topic=441.0

unfortunately I also did an update of w10. so far, not the right settings have been found to make PF work well, which until recently succeeded in a short time. problem are now mainly the overall windows sound settings in combination with d & r airlite.

As said above - this seems to be a particular problem with the drivers provided by D&R - see the above post/link!

As such, I guess you need to complain with the support team at D&R!

I also believe that PF is not the problem, but that windows causes all problems. until now I have partially got it working again but in the windows sound settings such something has changed so I run into a few small problems, takes time to solve. on the second computer where RadioDJ also runs sound problems after updating windows.

I guess it is not really Windows, but indeed rather D&R - one of the main issue are the drivers, which D&R doesn't provide by its own.
I see a lot of very stable Windows 10 systems, so it almost became a habit to always blame Microsoft for any fault first - because that is so easy ;-)
If I was you, I would really make more pressure on D&R!

I´ve had problems with D&R airlite drivers. Only a fresh windows 10 install helped me solving my problem.

No doubt about the stability of PF and MSWIN10 but an update of MSWIN10 is again one with negative consequences. For me the only solution was a reinstallation of win10 after which it all works fine again!
