Post by Bumperke »

Bernd,

already found some hotkeys, the total list for voicetracking is that avilible?
Like Start\Rec or Fade out, att. volume, seque, next playlist track etc?
Will

Recording: (Recording)
The voice track recording will be placed as a new track inbetween the current and next track.

Typical Steps:

1) Locate the position where you want to start recording in the current track (e.g. using the WaveForm). HOTKEYSpace bar? Etc?

START/STOP REC button: ALT+R
FADE OUT/STOP button: ALT+S
PFL button: F11
TAGs button: ALT+3
That's it basically for direct button assignments.

However, there are many control-commands (all starting with VT_..., see the user manual for a complete list) which you can assign to the HotKey-Mapping (see general settings, section GPIO), e.g.:
VT_LOCALCARTWALL_BUTTON
VT_REC_BUTTON
VT_FADESTOP_BUTTON
VT_RESETALL_BUTTON
VT_ATTVOLUME_BUTTON
VT_PRELISTEN_BUTTON
VT_NEXTENTRY_BUTTON
VT_NEXTPLACEHOLDER_BUTTON
VT_CLOSE_CANCEL
VT_CLOSE_SAVE
In addition, there is:
MAIN_SHOW_VOICETRACKING

So you are making a post, saying, that you did not get it fixed; and are now telling me, that this is because you did not try anything?!
This is insane and I tell you what: you are right doing nothing to fix an issue doesn't feels right ;-)

Here is a post describing the steps for Hot-Key mapping (if you need additional to the above):
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1341&p=5948#p5948

Instead use the above control-commands - see the user manual for a complete list.
Press the '?' in each dialog to get additional help.
